Give your 15-23 Mustang the presence of a factory Super Snake GT500 — deep power dome, functional heat extraction, aggressive center cowl. This is a direct replacement hood in GT500-style livery, built by Muscle Auto Zone and year-fit to either the 15-17 pre-facelift chassis or the 18-23 facelift.
Select your fitment from the dropdown — 15-17 and 18-23 use different dimensions, so year-match your order. Both variants use the same carbon fiber construction with full double-sided weave, meeting OEM hinge and latch points with precision molds cut from factory hood scans.
This hood is frequently out of stock because MAZ runs it in pre-order batches. Contact us for the most current lead time before you place your order. Hood pins are mandatory — this is a composite part and the factory hood strut will not hold it at highway speed without them.

Installation
Two-person hood swap. Professional install is strongly recommended for alignment.
- Hinge transfer from OEM hood.
- Recommended hardware: M6x1.00 12mm bolts (x6) with four washers — hardware-store grade.
- Hood pins are mandatory before first drive — this is not optional on a composite hood.
- Drill hood-pin locations with a template; do not freehand the pin holes.
- Paint and clear coat in a body shop before install if you want color match to the vehicle.
- Allow 3-4 hours for install and alignment.
