Pro-Series 5/8” billet check valve with 0 PSI cracking pressure and a 0-100 PSI operating range — the heart of every UPR dual-valve catch can system. Disassembles for service, handles boost, and pulls full vacuum without lag.
The UPR Pro-Series 5/8″ (17mm) Billet Check Valve is a zero-PSI cracking, fully serviceable one-way valve engineered to pull maximum vacuum through an oil catch can system. On boosted applications, the factory PCV system fights you — positive manifold pressure tries to reverse flow and push oil vapor back into the intake. A zero-cracking check valve stops that reversal cold while adding no measurable restriction in normal vacuum operation.
This is the same Pro-Series valve used as the upgrade option on UPR dual-valve Plug-N-Play catch cans — including the dual-valve system on the UPR Explorer ST 3.0L EcoBoost Catch Can. Boosted ECS/ECSS systems run a pair of these valves; sold here as a single for replacement, rebuild, or to double-up on a custom install.

Install in-line on the PCV or clean-side hose, arrow pointing the direction of flow (away from the engine, toward the catch can or intake depending on which side). Five-minute install with a pair of hose clamps. For cleaning: back off the hex nut, rinse the check ball and spring in solvent, reassemble. Spring can be removed entirely to reduce cracking pressure further on specialty applications.
Boosted dual-valve systems require two valves — one per PCV leg. Order the quantity your system needs.
