The Alpine F1 Hybrid Extrusion Simulator
The BWT Alpine F1 Team TRA Hybrid is the second result of the Trak Racer x Alpine F1 partnership — a hybrid Formula/GT cockpit on an extruded aluminum chassis, finished in the official BWT Alpine F1 livery.
The TRA hybrid lets you switch between Formula (inverted pedals, reclined seat) and GT (upright pedals, raised seat) positions, with the chassis rigidity to take a 30Nm+ direct-drive wheelbase. Same engineering brain as the Alpine TRX, in an aluminum-extrusion package that’s lighter and easier to disassemble.
The Hybrid Built For The Alpine Academy.
The TRA is the cockpit Alpine F1 Academy drivers train on when they’re not behind the wheel of an actual F1 car — Esteban Ocon, Victor Martins (Formula 3), Caio Collet (Formula 3) all use Trak Racer simulators for off-season training.
The hybrid configuration matters because today’s F1 drivers don’t just train on F1 cars — they’re cross-training on GT3, LMP, and prototype rigs for endurance racing crossover. The TRA gives them one cockpit for both.
