The Next Step Up
Next Gen 5662 takes the 56 mm Next Gen CEA compressor and pairs it with a 62 mm turbine wheel. 800 HP rating, and the extra turbine wheel size vs. the 5658 opens up top-end airflow on bigger engines. Right frame for 2.0–3.0L builds that want extended high-RPM pull without stepping up to the 6062 frame.
Competition Engineered Aerodynamics
Next Gen CEA compressor technology. Clean-sheet blade geometry over the Gen 2 5662, higher pressure ratio ceiling, and the efficiency map is tuned for modern high-boost operating points. Holds efficiency deeper into the top of the compressor map than Gen 2.
Dual Ceramic Center Section
Next Gen dual ceramic ball bearing CHRA. Higher shaft speed rating, tighter tolerances, and the lightweight Next Gen compressor wheel makes the bigger turbine feel like it spools almost as quickly as the 5658. Daily-drivable, race-car tough.
