The PT5558 is the smallest turbo in Precision’s CEA lineup. 55 mm compressor inducer, 58 mm turbine wheel, 590 HP rating. Built for small-displacement engines (1.5–2.0L) and budget builds that want the CEA compressor wheel technology without the bigger frame size. Popular on Honda, Mazda, and Subaru single-turbo swaps.
Competition Engineered Aerodynamics
2618-aluminum billet CEA compressor wheel scaled to the 55 mm frame. Spool is near-instant on small engines, and the efficiency map holds strong pressure ratios all the way to the top of the RPM band. It’s what you want when a T3/T4 57-trim is running out of airflow and you need a modern wheel profile.
Dual Ceramic Center Section
Dual ceramic ball bearing CHRA. On a 55 mm wheel, the ball bearing advantage is stark — the turbo spins up so quickly you feel it in the seat. Pair it with a standalone ECU and proper tune, and you’ve got a 500+ WHP street car with 2,800 RPM boost onset.
