The PT6062 Gen 2 is Precision’s 60 mm street/race platform. 60 mm compressor inducer, 62 mm turbine wheel, 750 HP rating. Gen 2 refines the original CEA profile with tighter blade geometry and updated bearing specs. Pick this turbo when the 5862 is too small and the 6262 is too big — it’s the right middle ground for 3.0–4.0L builds that want aggressive spool with top-end headroom.
Competition Engineered Aerodynamics
Second-generation CEA wheel, machined from 2618-aluminum billet. Pressure ratio improvements over Gen 1 let you run higher boost without surge, and the peak efficiency island sits right where most tuners actually live on the compressor map. Dual Ceramic Center Section
Updated Gen 2 dual ceramic ball bearing cartridge. Tighter clearances, higher shaft speed rating, and quieter at idle than the Gen 1 equivalent. The bearing that lets you run this turbo on pump gas for daily commuting, then beat on it at the track on weekends without giving anything up.
