Verus Engineering is a US aerodynamics company that develops bolt-on aero — front splitters, rear diffusers, diffuser strakes, dive planes, fender evacuation kits and flat underbody panels — using CFD analysis and in-house OEM scan data. Their parts are designed to deliver measurable downforce and drag gains while fitting like factory components.
Ventus is Verus Engineering's staged aerodynamic program for the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350. Ventus 1 focuses on drag reduction and a slight downforce gain by cleaning up the underbody — fender evacuation kit, flat underbody panels and turning vanes. Ventus 2 and 3 add progressively more downforce with components like dive planes and rear aero. The stages are balanced front-to-rear so the car stays stable at speed.
Most are. Verus designs parts from in-house OEM scan data and uses factory mounting points wherever possible, so the typical install needs only hand tools — no fabrication. Carbon dive planes use 3M VHB tape with a supplied template. A few items note specific fitment exceptions, which are listed on each product page.
It depends on the part. Structural aero like underbody panels, diffuser strakes and brake ducts are CNC-cut 5052 aluminum, powdercoated black and made in the USA. Show-and-function parts like the C8 rear diffuser and GT350 dive planes are 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave-cured and clear-coated. Hardware is stainless steel throughout.
