The Next Step Up
The PT5858 is Precision’s entry point into the CEA platform. 58 mm inducer matched to a 58 mm turbine wheel — it’s the smallest turbo in the Gen 1 lineup and the one most 4-cylinder and small-bore 6-cylinder builds reach for when they want quick spool, strong midrange, and a 620 HP ceiling without the cost or complexity of a bigger frame.
Competition Engineered Aerodynamics
Same 2618-aluminum billet CEA compressor wheel as Precision’s bigger turbos, scaled to the 58 mm size. Result: the smallest Precision can build with an efficiency envelope that still punches above its weight class. Faster spool than equivalent cast-wheel turbos, higher pressure ratio headroom, and usable power deep into the top of the RPM range.
Dual Ceramic Center Section
Dual ceramic ball bearing CHRA. On a small turbo like this, the ball bearing upgrade matters even more — less mass to spin up means near-instant throttle response, and the bearing tolerates boost pressures that would destroy a journal-bearing cartridge this size. Street-car drivability, road-race durability.
