Overview
The UPR Plug N Play Dual Valve Oil Catch Can with CSS is the full-boat PCV protection kit for the 2024-2025 Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L. Dual-valve architecture – dirty-side catch can on one path, Clean Side Separator (CSS) on the other – traps oil vapor going IN the intake AND oil mist being pushed out of the clean side under boost. The system Raptor-specific tunes demand.
Most catch cans are just dirty-side traps – they work at idle and cruise but do nothing when the turbos spool. The Clean Side Separator (CSS) wires into the factory crankcase sensor and catches oil mist being forced OUT of the clean side when the engine is under boost – exactly when a modified Raptor pushes the most oil vapor. No check engine light. No EPS interference. No tuning required.

Installation
- Time: 60 minutes for a first-timer with basic tools.
- Difficulty: Plug-and-play. No drilling, no wiring mods, no tune.
- Tools: 10mm socket, flat-blade screwdriver for PCV quick-connect release, pliers for hose-end retention clips.
- Bracket mount: OEM hard points – bolts to factory-tapped locations.
- Remove factory fitting: Press collar inward, pull apart. Held by a retention clip – hold the ring firmly, it wants to stay seated.
- First drain: Check after 500-1000 miles. Expect 1-3 oz of captured oil on the first check. Drain interval stretches as blow-by stabilizes.
