Overview
The UPR Plug N Play Dual Valve Oil Catch Can with CSS is the full-spectrum PCV protection kit for 2021-2025 Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost (Raptor included) and 2022-2024 Expedition 3.5L. Dual-valve architecture – dirty-side catch can on one path, Clean Side Separator (CSS) on the other – traps oil vapor going INTO the intake AND oil mist being pushed out of the clean side under boost. The system tuned F-150s, Raptors, and loaded Expeditions actually need.
Most catch cans are dirty-side only – they work at idle and cruise but do nothing when the turbos spool. The Clean Side Separator wires into the factory crankcase sensor and catches oil mist being forced OUT of the clean side when the engine is under boost – exactly when a tuned 3.5L EcoBoost pushes the most oil vapor. No CEL. No EPS interference. No tune required. This is the kit UPR designed for trucks that actually get driven hard.

Installation
- Time: 30-60 minutes for a first-timer.
- Difficulty: Plug-and-play. No drilling, no tune, no wiring modifications beyond the CSS factory-sensor connection.
- Tools: 10mm socket, flat-blade screwdriver for PCV quick-connect release, pliers for hose-end retention clips.
- Bracket mount: OEM hard points – bolts to factory-tapped locations.
- CSS wiring: Plugs inline to the factory crankcase sensor – no splicing, no tuning. Simply unclip the factory connector, plug CSS harness between sensor and truck, re-clip.
- First drain: Check after 500-1000 miles. On a tuned F-150 or Raptor expect 2-4 oz on the first check. Drain interval stretches as the engine stabilizes.
